The 'corporate body' of Exeter Cathedral (formally known as the Cathedral Church of St Peter in Exeter) is made up of the Chapter, the College of Canons and the Cathedral Council. Each of these bodies has an important role to play in how the Cathedral is governed.
The Cathedral's community (Chapter, congregations, staff and volunteers) are represented by a committee whose lay members are elected by those on the Cathedral Community Roll, which enables the Cathedral to record all who are regularly involved in its life, and committed to its work. The Cathedral Community Committee works closely with the Cathedral Fellowship Committee, which arranges parties and outings for the Cathedral Community, and serves refreshments on special occasions such as the installation of members of the Cathedral Foundation.
Staff vacancies are advertised online when they arise and general information can also be found about volunteering at Exeter Cathedral.
