School Holiday Egg Hunt
Friday 31st March 2017
Families spending time in Exeter during the Easter Holidays will be able to take part in a free Easter Egg Hunt around the city’s Cathedral.
Available until the 21st April 2017, children and their parents will be able to explore Cathedral, counting the eggs that have been hidden all around the inside of the 900 year old building. A chocolate prize will be available at the end, with the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win an Easter treat.
Catherine Escott, Head of Visitor Services, said:
“We love welcoming families to the Cathedral throughout the year and particularly during the school holidays. The Easter Egg Hunt, together with our ‘explorer backpacks’, is a great way to encourage children to discover this wonderful building for themselves.”
Admission to the Cathedral is free for children under 18 within a family group and just £7.50 for adults. As well as the Easter Egg Hunt and explorer backpacks there are also guided tours, audio handsets, activity trails and an introductory film, all included with the entry price.
Details of times when the Cathedral will be closed to the public are all available from exeter-cathedral.org.uk
