Women’s World Day of Prayer

Wednesday 22nd February 2017

Am I Being unfair to You?

On Friday 3rd March over 5,000 services will be held in the British Isles on the above theme.  The Christian women of the Philippines wrote the service and it has been translated into 1,000 different languages and dialects, to be used throughout the world.

The first service will start on the Friday at sunrise over the island of Samoa and continue until sunset off the coast of American Samoa;  here in Exeter there will be a service at Exeter Cathedral at 10.30 followed by refreshments in the Chapter House, with a second Service in St Thomas Methodist Church, Cowick Street at 19.30

Why not find out more about the theme, the Phillippines and the Service?  The Day of Prayer is not just for women.  Everyone is welcome to attend the service.
