Choral Evensong celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Music Foundation Trust
On the anniversary of the Feast of the Dedication of the Cathedral, and given the centrality of the music which has enriched the liturgy here for centuries, it is particularly appropriate to celebrate the work of the Exeter Cathedral Music Foundation Trust.
The Music Foundation Trust was founded 30 years ago to give financial support to the provision of high standards of choral and organ music at the Cathedral. Over the years, thanks to the generosity of donors past and present, the Trust has helped to fund choristers, organ scholars, sheet music, the choir and enabled restoration work on the organ. It has been able to meet half the costs required for the music and aims to do more in the future.
Everyone is warmly welcome to attend the service which will be led by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Timothy Noon (Director of Music).
