Thy Kingdom Come

Sunday 4th June 2017 at 18.30

Exeter Cathedral will host a Beacon Prayer Event on Pentecost Sunday evening . Our vision is for every church/mission community to be represented as we gather in the Cathedral for an amazing worship and ‘house of prayer’ event.

How to get involved

*Each Mission Community is invited to construct a ‘prayer box’ (from a cross shaped template available in Exeter Old Deanery, Plymouth St. Marks and supplied to all the Archdeacon visitation venues across the diocese) It’s a flat pack to symbolise the church with ‘open walls’

– Please cover it inside and out with pictures, Bible verses, answered prayers, intercessions, good news stories, hopes and dreams for the building of God’s Kingdom on your patch. As you make your box, you might also want to place items in it that symbolise your prayers, for serving with joy or growing new disciples, transforming community, both the joys and the challenges. Send us a picture to help build our story of praying for the kingdom across Devon

Please bring your boxes to share your story of praying for the Kingdom Of God, and place them on our huge map of Devon which will be in the cathedral as together we will pray Thy Kingdom Come!
