Good news for food lovers in Exeter

Foodies visiting the Exeter and Greater Exeter area can now embark on a journey of discovery as an exciting new initiative has officially launched today at Exeter Cathedral.

Set to place Exeter on the map as a major new foodie destination, the Exeter Food and Drink Trail has brought together the area’s finest food and drink producers, retailers and restaurateurs, who gathered outside Exeter Cathedral Café for a photocall on Thursday 18th October 2018.

Exeter Cathedral’s Marketing Manager, Laurence Blyth, welcomed the news:

“Exeter’s food and drink scene has really taken off in recent years, with a really exciting offering all around the city. The area around the Cathedral has become home for a wide range of outlets for all tastes, and we’re proud that the Cathedral Café will be joining them in the new guide.”

At the centre of the self-guided Exeter Food and Drink Trail is a beautiful map, created by local illustrator Aylwyn Bowen, which pinpoints the locations of over 40 local food and drink producers, foodie experiences and eateries. Foodies can now use the map as a resource to embark on a journey of culinary discovery.
