We invite those who would like to consider being confirmed at the Cathedral to contact the Canon Chancellor, Canon Chris Palmer – [email protected]. Confirmation preparation will take place on Sundays 15, 22 March; 5, 26 April; 3, 10 May from 11.45am to 1.00pm, and the Confirmation Service will be held on Sunday 17 May at 4.00pm at the cathedral, when the Bishop of Crediton will confirm candidates from across the Diocese of Exeter.
Confirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made when they were baptized. The local bishop will lay their hands on your head and ask God’s Holy Spirit to give you the strength and commitment to live God’s way for the rest of your life. We invite adults and young people aged 11 and over to express an interest in being confirmed.
