Library & Archives In Focus: Inventories

Inventories are more than just lists! Join us as we take a closer look inside and around the chapels, rooms and cupboards of the past. Personal probate inventories show us what a medieval merchant family valued most, and how life in the Deanery was divided between the public and the private at the turn of the 19th century. Inventories of treasures reveal the books, textiles, plates and other objects used in the Cathedral over a period of more than 700 years.
