Paying Tribute to Her Majesty Queen at Exeter Cathedral

Exeter Cathedral warmly welcomes all who wish to pay tribute and give thanks for the life and service of Her Majesty The Queen.

Scheduled event changes

Tours
Daily public floor tours are cancelled until after the funeral of Her Late Majesty The Queen.
Pre-booked guided tours will continue as scheduled. Please note that the tour itinerary may be subject to change. Please contact our Visitors Team if you have any concerns or questions.

Extended opening hours
Until Sunday 18 September, Exeter Cathedral will be open from 8am to 6:30pm every day. On Monday 19 September the Cathedral will close at 4pm. From Tuesday 20 September, our open hours will return to 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday, and 11:30am-4pm on Sundays.
Admission fee
Admission into Exeter Cathedral is free for all visitors up to and including Monday 19 September.
Book of Condolence
A Book of Condolence can be found in the Cathedral nave, and we warmly welcome all visitors to leave their own personal message. The Book of Condolence will close on Monday, 19 September at 4pm.
Floral tributes
There is a designated area signposted on Cathedral Green, where floral tributes may be placed.
Shop and Café
Exeter Cathedral Shop and Ten Fifty café will remain open as usual.
