Supporting people with sight loss to live independently, live actively and live well.
Founded in 1961, WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation working in more than 100 countries to create solutions to the most important environmental challenges facing the planet so that people and nature can thrive. Their work centres around restoring wildlife, sustaining forests and oceans and reducing carbon emissions.
A fundraiser will be talking to interested members of the public about WWF’s fantastic work in the UK and around the world offering people the chance to understand more about the charity and discover great ways to protect our brilliant planet while offering the chance to get involved directly through adoptions or membership.
Macmillan Cancer Support want to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same.
There are currently 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and as more people are living longer with their cancer, this number is set to grow to 4 million by 2030. Macmillan want to make sure they can provide support to everyone who needs it, to hold on to who they are and what’s important.
RNLI lifeboat crews protect hundreds of communities around the UK and Ireland through their 24-hour search and rescue service. To do so, they rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from. Saving lives at sea requires lifeboats that can battle the elements, lifeboat stations from which to launch from, and your support. Every lifeboat launch, and every life saved, is only possible thanks to the generosity of people like you. The RNLI celebrating its 200 years will be at Exeter Christmas market delivering safety messages and inspiring new members to support this lifesaving charity.
