Christmas Events at Exeter Cathedral:

Handel’s Messiah with the Exeter Cathedral Choir

Sunday 8 December 2024, 2:30pm
The Exeter Cathedral Choir will be teaming up with early-music specialists Devon Baroque for a seasonal performance of Handel’s Messiah.
The proceeds from this concert will support the work of the Exeter Cathedral Music Foundation Trust.

Christmas with the Cathedral Choir

7, 10 & 12 December, 7pm
Exeter Cathedral’s most popular Christmas carol concerts of the year! Directed by Timothy Noon, Director of Music, with organ music by Michael Stephens-Jones, ADM.

Library & Archives Christmas In Focus: Picturing the Nativity

Tuesday 10 December, 1-3pm
For centuries, artists and printmakers have imagined the nativity of Jesus, based on accounts in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Start your Christmas with some seasonal treasures from the Cathedral Library.

 

The Exeter Nativity

Sunday 15 December, 4pm
Enjoy an entertaining re-telling of the Nativity at Exeter Cathedral! Free to attend but we recommend booking in advance.

Discover a variety of FREE festive arts and crafts inside Exeter Cathedral during the Christmas holidays. Activities are suitable for children of all ages.

Make Your Own Wreath

Use supplied materials to design and make your very own Christmas wreath to take home and hang up!

 

 

Create a Christmas Tree Decoration

Use card, string, and other decorative materials to create a mini Christmas tree, which can be hung on your tree at home. 🎄

 

 

Colour Your Own Bauble

Colour in the wooden baubles provided using the felt tips on the table. Get as creative with the design as you like!
