Library and Archives In Focus: Bare Bones
Thursday 12 June, drop in between 1pm and 3pm
Skeletons are a stark reminder of the transient nature of life but they can also symbolise wisdom, knowledge and the pursuit of truth. Discover skeletons in the Exeter Cathedral Library, from depictions in medieval manuscripts to the magnificent anatomical woodcuts in Andreas Vesalius’s De humani fabrica.
This event is free to attend and will take place in the Exeter Cathedral Library and Archives Reading Room, located in the West Wing.
